Located a block from Eastern Washington University (EWU), ERV saw the opportunity to convert the original Cheney High School into a unique student housing development for EWU students. The building was purchased in the fall of 2016. Built in 1931, ERV maintained the charm of the architecture while providing modern-day finishes and upgrades into each loft-like apartment. The historic building reopened in the fall of 2017. This project was awarded the Washington State Historic Preservation Award for Outstanding Rehabilitation.
